This Privacy Notice explains how Dynamic Search, LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use our app and website (the "Service"). Dynamic Search, LLC acts as the data controller for the personal data described below.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), authentication tokens.
  • Family profile data: child display names, ages, avatars, chores, points, savings goals and rewards you create.
  • Usage & telemetry: device type, browser, IP address, pages viewed, feature interactions and error logs.
  • Support messages: content of any messages you send us.
  • Referral data: referral codes and the link between referrers and referred subscribers (where applicable).

Payment data (card numbers, billing addresses) is collected and processed directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record, and is not stored on our systems.

2. Why we use your data

  • To create and manage your account (contract).
  • To provide the Service: tracking chores, savings, rewards (contract).
  • To process subscriptions and credits via Paddle (contract).
  • To prevent fraud, abuse and secure the Service (legitimate interest).
  • To improve the product, fix bugs and analyse usage (legitimate interest).
  • To respond to your support requests (legitimate interest / contract).
  • To send service-related notifications (contract). Marketing only with your consent.
  • To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).

3. Who we share data with

  • Paddle — our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — for cloud hosting, database, authentication and storage.
  • Analytics and error monitoring providers — to understand usage and diagnose issues.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting and similar advisers where necessary.
  • Authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to satisfy legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

5. Your rights

Depending on your country, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • request correction or deletion;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the support channel inside the app. We aim to respond within one month.

6. International transfers

Where we transfer personal data outside your country (including outside the UK / EEA), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular monitoring — to protect your personal data. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep yours safe.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and similar technologies required to operate the Service (e.g. for authentication). We may also use limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

9. Children's data

Dynamic Search, LLC is intended to be set up and managed by a parent or guardian. Children's profile information is provided and managed by the parent or guardian, who is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of that data.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service.
